MINES SHOPPING FAIR

Mines Shopping Fair is located in Seri Kembangan and is only a 30-minute drive from the city of Kuala Lumpur. This shopping mall is exceptionally different from the rest of the malls in the country as it has a canal that runs right through the complex. The canal links two former tin mines lakes called the North Lake and the South Lake. Have a break and rest your weary legs by hopping on one of the water taxis for either a 15 or a 45 minute cruise down one or both of the lakes. Enjoy a mini Venetian experience in Malaysia.

The shopping mall is part of the MINES Resort City which includes the Mines Wonderland, Mines Resort & Golf Club, Palace of Golden Horses Hotel and Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC). All of these facilities are located within the vicinity of the two lakes and were developed by Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew in 1988.
